I did some riding on this type of surface right after xmas when we had some rain on our snow pack and it makes for a short ride that's a great workout. We might be in for another round of it as it has been warm and sunny for a couple days but is heading back into the deep freeze.
My pooch doesn't need a coat but does wear booties when we skijor in below zero weather.
