I generally like to see Germany lose. I have no good reason. I just decided a long time ago to root for other countries. Spain is on my "root for" list. So I was pleased.
I was cheering for Germany, too, until I realized that they hadn't made it to the stadium in time for the game. Congrats to Spain, though, nice to see them finally live up to their potential.
Vamos con la Furia!! I saw your note. That's pretty damn exciting, attending (planning) 2010. Let's just see if it's still in South Africa.
ReplyDeleteBecause I was hoping Spain would win, it was a great game to watch. I imagine it was dreadful for German fans.

ReplyDeleteI was silently rooting for the Germans; but it was clearly evident that the best team won. Ole'!
