Sorry for your loss, Midnight. There is nothing like a good, loyal dog.
When I was a teenager, we had to put down our doberman who had cancer. It was just really awful, I loved that dog. I had dogs since but was not able to really connect with any of them until I got my current dog K.C. who is getting old really fast. After K.C. goes, I don't think we will get another dog for awhile. It's just really hard.
Oh man, I am so sorry :( So much for my attempt at optimism.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sad. I have a dog myself and I would be devastated.
I had to do that about 2 years ago. To date, it was the absolute most trying thing I've ever had to endure.
ReplyDeleteIt is likely to remain unrivaled until such time that parents pass from this world.
My condolances. :(
Saying good bye to a loyal pet is one of the hardest things in the world. Remember the good times, I'm sure you had many with your friend.
ReplyDeleteMy blog is at Fostersletters.blogspot.com. Did you lose a dog. This last one is entitled "Good Night Friend"?

I also hope your neighbor is doing better and recovering quickly.
ReplyDeleteVery sorry about your loss and I hope your neighbor recovers quickly.
ReplyDeleteAs for campaign thing.... I am not a big supporter of your candidate though I am struggling for a viable candidate at all at the moment.
